Matt announces the release of his sophomore full-length album, "Passerby". The release date is set for January 29, 2008 and the CD will be available online at the store (store.therealmattjones.com), on iTunes, and at amazon.com. This long-awaited release is a blend of pop, acoustic rock, and folk/americana including the singles "Parked Car", "Something New", "Anybody For Me", "Your Problems For Mine", and "Passerby".

Matt's is in the finals on this season of Famecast (www.famecast.com)! The competition will take place on December 1 in Austin, TX at Stubbs. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

Matt releases a 6-song follwo-up to his debut album entitled the "Segue EP ". The album will be available at the store (store.therealmattjones.com) and on iTunes.

Matt's song "Maybe It Was Me" is selected as one of ten tracks on a promotional sampler of unsigned bands released by the New York based artist alliance Intellective Records (www.intellectiverecords.com).
